5 of My Favorite Things for Fall

Happy fall friends! Today I’m sharing a few things that I’ve been loving for the body and soul lately. I hope you find some inspiration!

1. Numi Chai Tea

First up is this chai tea.  Last year I was on the hunt for a rich chai tea that was decaffeinated and wouldn’t keep me up at night (because who wants to have time frames around when they can drink chai tea?!) Behold, it exists!  This Numi chai is decaf, high quality and potent, and the perfect combination of spice and vanilla.  I brew it for 10-15 minutes so it’s pretty strong and then add in soy creamer and a little honey to make it extra creamy and delicious.  I’ve found it on Amazon and at Sprouts, but I’m sure you could find it in other grocers too.

2. Fall Oils

Mmmmm the smells of fall. There’s few things quite as wonderful. If you’re looking to replace synthetic fragrances, but still want those delicious nostalgic smells, look for candle companies that use soy wax, cotton wicks, and essential oils, or head straight for high quality essential oils and a diffuser. I ordered clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger and they’ve been on repeat in my diffuser lately.  I’m no oils expert, so I love that you can’t really mess up the “recipe”….I add a couple drops of each and sometimes mix in some cedar wood or cypress for a more foresty vibe.

3. The Perfect Joggers

I’ve had a couple pairs of joggers that get pilly after a few washes, or they’re too thick or too thin, or they just don’t feel like I’m swimming on a cloud (an obvious must for comfy pants).  And THEN I found these ones from Gap and all of my jogger dreams came true. They’re super soft, stretchy and thin, but still have a weight to them which I really like.  The one’s I got are sold out in most sizes right now, but these are almost identical and come in more colors. Gap does sales OFTEN so if you keep checking online they’re likely to go on sale or have a discount code!

4. Bella Grace Magazine

This isn’t really a magazine, but I’m not sure what else to call it.  It’s more like a beautiful book full of photography, poems, short stories, and inspiration.  It comes out quarterly so each edition aligns with the current season.  Sometimes reading a book with chapters or scrolling through IG just doesn’t satisfy, so Bella Grace is my go-to for curling up to be inspired. You can order it online, or find it at Barnes and Noble in the magazine section.  HIGHLY recommend if you’re into art, poetry, and inspiring stories about finding beauty in everyday life.

5. Pumpkin Spice Half-and-Half

Have you tried the Califia Farms Pumpkin Spice Half-and-Half? I actually don’t care for it in coffee (I suppose that’s why they sell a creamer version as well), but I’ve been loving stirring the half-and-half into my oatmeal for a creamy pumpkin taste, and also adding it to a glass of plain cold almond milk (2/3 almond milk with 1/3 creamer)…which ends up tasting like a less pungent form of pumpkin spice egg nog…sounds weird, but it’s one of my favorite treats right now! The half-and-half is made with coconut cream, almond milk, pumpkin, and spices. I’ve seen it at Sprouts, Target, and Whole Foods.

Lastly, a little October reminder for you as you cozy into fall…

What are your favorite things right now?

P.S. I’m on the hunt for a good fall playlist on Spotify…something calm and moody but cheerful. If you have one, TELL ME in the comments below! :)
