Finding Your Path this Year - New Year Part 2

Finding Your Path this Year
Stepping into a New Year: Part 2

Maybe you're feeling a little uncertain as you turn the page to a new year?

Maybe you're not quite sure what you value most,

Maybe you long for sustainable rhythms,

But don't know how to create them.

Maybe you desire more physical and emotional health,

But feel confused and bombarded by the masses of conflicting information.

Maybe you long for more peace, more grounding, more alignment with what matters most to you,

But aren't sure how to clear the fog that surrounds you.

I think we can all relate with this in some way,

Because paths are seldom straight and roadmaps often tattered.

So if you're feeling a little lost as you step into a new year, or a new hour,

I want to remind you of something really important that I needed to hear too....

It's ok to hold a hand.

It sounds so simple and cliche, but it's critical,

Because aloneness can make or break us.

We were made for togetherness,

Maybe it means calling up a friend and telling them some fears the new year holds,

Asking if they have a dream for the year and sharing yours,

Or exchanging important words.

Maybe it's working with a therapist, going to coffee with a friend, or calling a mentor.

When the path feels foggy, it's so helpful to walk side by side with others as we find our way.

Someone you admire and trust,

Someone who holds a light when yours feels dim.

When we sort through these things together,

Questions, fears, rhythms, emotions, goals,

The burden loses power and the light grows brighter.

So in case you need the reminder today,

You don't have to do it alone,

Not you, not me, not any of us.

May this year be full of reaching out, up, and down,

Because we're all better together.

I'm rooting for you friend.

All of my love and light,
Christina
